The WHAT
This Way to the Egress is an Ole Tymey – Gypsypunk- Cabaret. With a valiant effort to “bring the show back to the people” they are a revolving door of musical mayhem, sideshow, burlesque, and comedy leaving a modern twist on the good old days of Vaudeville. Like a renegade theater of sorts, they weave visual antics with eclectic sounds creating an experience unlike any other in their genre.

The WHO
Founded by front-man ‘Tyrant”Taylor Galassi in 2008 they are a 3 piece at its core. Taylor, switching between, Accordion, Cello, Guitar, and vocals, “Saddle Sarah Shown” on piano and vocals, occasional violin and accordion, and Mischief M@ Verderosa on Drums, Percussion, Toys and Glockenspiel. Aside from their traveling cabaret, they also score music for films, troupes, and performers and serve as a backing band for solo artists.

Based out of The Philadelphia Region, they are most frequently spotted in-between Philadelphia and NYC however, Pilgrims of the Road, This Way to the Egress will travel anywhere and everywhere to spread the Gospel of Circus. Encouraging all to join along the way.
